It was one of the best restaurants that we ever had. The atmosphere very cosy. The welcoming bread and butter so delicious. We started with the bone marrow which was one of the best dishes that we had. The garlic bread full of flavors. For the main we had the off menu burger that was so delicious. And the sole fish with brown butter and lemon was juicy and delicious. It is a highly recommended and we will come back.

The food here is exceptional. Cooked & seasoned to perfection. The restaurant decor is also great - dim lighting, cosy, romantic. Nice wine too. However, for a high end restaurant I’d expect the service to match, which sadly it doesn’t. The staff here are just not very attentive (had to wait for our table despite having a reservation, had to call them over several times throughout the meal, they’d forgotten a side dish which then arrived 5 mins after the rest of our food). Minor things overall but given the prices are similar to a Mayfair restaurant, the service is no where near the same standard. Also worth noting that those dining are mainly British & American. This is absolutely fine for us, but worth noting in case you want somewhere that feels more French.

We had a Valentine’s Day dinner here and it definitely lived up to the hype. Reservations aren’t easy to get, but it’s worth it. The atmosphere is dark and cozy with relaxing music, perfect for a romantic evening. We were seated immediately. We started with the bone marrow and had the steak with pepper sauce and the cod for mains, everything was delicious and full of flavor. For dessert, the tarte tatin came with complimentary ice cream and a candle for my birthday, which was a lovely touch. The service was attentive and warm throughout. It’s on the more expensive side, but well worth it for a special dinner or celebration.
